The services of ‘Irish Weddings’ does NOT include the below;
The venue/venues, services and suppliers are booked and paid for directly by the couple (the fees are included in the quoted package price). Therefore, the contract for each is solely between the venue, service or supplier and the couple. ‘Irish Weddings’ will provisionally book the venue/venues, services and suppliers. They will all then be in direct contact with the couple. If the chosen reception venue (at the time of booking the package) becomes unavailable for any reason an alternative venue will be offered (price could be higher or lower).
In the event that any venue, service or supplier cancels prior to the date of the wedding, the couple agrees that ‘Irish Weddings’ may substitute a new venue, service or supplier with or without advance notice to the couple at their discretion and any additional costs to be paid by the couple.
‘Irish Weddings` warrants that its services shall be performed in accordance with industry practice. For the avoidance of doubt ‘Irish Weddings’ does not provide any warranty whatsoever in respect of the performance or quality of any venue, service or supplier, nor shall ‘Irish Weddings’ be liable in any way whatsoever in respect thereof.
DUNLUCE CASTLE WEDDINGS:
A location fee of £250 for the Dunluce Castle (up to 10 people, a higher fee applies for more than this) is included in the package price. This fee is to be paid in cash directly to the landowner by the couple (or someone assigned by the couple) on the day of their wedding. This location fee allows private access by car to the top of the Field and also ensures exclusivity of the area for your wedding ie. only one wedding taking place there (not closed off to the public). Please also note these weddings are standing ceremonies. The backup indoor venue is located at the Dunluce Castle and can accommodate a maximum of 20 people.
All Ancient Ruins venues are state owned and public property. It is still possible to privately hire the venue for your ceremony. Most of them are in remote locations but it can’t be guaranteed that no tourists will be there at the time of your ceremony. However, once they see a wedding taking place they will stay clear. It’s also a possibility that another wedding will be taking place there. If this is the case the officiant will wait for the wedding to finish and then yours will begin. Please also note all Ancient Ruins weddings are standing ceremonies as chairs are prohibited. Due to the age & condition of Ancient Ruins buildings there is a possibility that they may have to close to the public for essential maintenance/repair work at very short notice. Also, the state could, at any stage, prohibit weddings from taking place at an Ancient Ruins site. If this happens ‘Irish Weddings’ will recommend a suitable replacement venue for which any additional costs are to be paid by the couple. The couple and their guests enter Ancient Ruins buildings at their own risk.
The weather in Ireland is very changeable and unpredictable. There is always a chance of rain, wind and a cold day. If a couple is having an outdoor wedding the option is there to hire a backup indoor venue. This can cost between £200 and £500+. Please discuss this further with your wedding planner if you would like to book. A backup indoor venue is included in Dunluce Castle packages.
The Registrar is the person that handles all the legal & paperwork requirements (not applicable for symbolic or vow renewal ceremonies). They work directly with the couple to help them through this process. It’s usually relatively straightforward. The couple are required to meet with the registrar to finalise and sign the paperwork 3-5 working days before their wedding. Once the Registrar has received all the necessary paperwork (must be done a minimum of 3 months before the date of the wedding) they will confirm the date and time of your meeting with them. It is recommended to only book flights and accommodation once your meeting date is known. It’s the sole responsibility of the couple to communicate with the Registrar in order to complete the paperwork before the 3 month deadline. ‘Irish Weddings’ nor any other ‘Third Party’ can act on behalf of the couple.
The couple indemnifies, will reimburse and holds harmless ‘Irish Weddings’, its directors, officers, employees, agents servants and subcontractors from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, judgements or causes of action, including costs and expenses incidental thereto, for or on account of injury to or death of persons (including but not limited to employees, servants and agents of the Client) or for loss of or damage to property (including but not limited to the property of the Client) howsoever arising out of the performance or non-performance of this Agreement and of whatever nature (whether in contract, tort under statute or otherwise at law or in equity) unless due to the recklessness of ‘Irish Weddings’.

After the cooling off period has expired the fees, taxes & charges that apply to the wedding are paid out and become nonrefundable to ‘Irish Weddings’ and the couple.
